Frequently asked questions
How we engage, how we work on the ground, and how your information is protected. If your question is not covered here, it probably belongs in your Mission Brief.

01 How do engagements work?
Two complementary agreements under Hong Kong law: a collaboration agreement covers the monthly retainer (intelligence, advisory, coordination), and a separate sourcing agency agreement governs execution and its declared commissions when deals materialize.
02 Why are there no prices on this site?
Because no two missions share the same scope. Every engagement is scoped individually from your Mission Brief, then quoted: a defined one-off question and an advisory mandate covering an entire portfolio call for very different setups. Field expenses are billed at cost, with receipts, and capacity is deliberately limited to a few parallel mandates.
03 Do you work with investment funds?
Yes. Ongoing advisory can cover an entire portfolio, and every deliverable is built for investment committees: documented, audit-ready, made to withstand scrutiny. Funds typically combine continuous sector monitoring with supplier qualification on request.
04 What makes you different from a sourcing agency?
Agencies find products. We reduce strategic uncertainty: field intelligence, independent verification and deal execution, with evidence you can put in front of an investment committee.
Method
05 You do not know my product. How can you help?
You are the expert of your product. We are the expert of the field. Your Mission Brief becomes our verification grid: during a shared scoping phase, you define what a credible supplier looks like for you, and we test it where it can be tested, on factory floors and in trade fair aisles.
06 What does a Mission Report contain?
A full written analysis, a supplier matrix scored on four weighted criteria (production capability, certifications, export readiness, communication quality), photographic evidence collected on site, and a base of contacts qualified in person. Documented and audit-ready, built to be put in front of a committee.
07 How fast do we see results?
First findings typically within two weeks. A full field mission cycle runs about seven weeks: two weeks of preparation, up to three weeks on the ground, and a documented report fourteen days after.
08 Which regions do you cover?
On the ground across China and Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Bangkok, with delivery to Europe and the Middle East.
Confidentiality
09 How are confidentiality and NDAs handled?
NDAs on request, under Hong Kong law. Supplier identity protection, non-circumvention clauses and audit-ready documentation on every engagement.
10 Will our company appear as a reference?
No. Anonymization is the default: no client names, logos or testimonials are published on this site. Published Mission Report excerpts are anonymized, and real identities stay under NDA.
Practical
11 Which languages do you work in?
English, French, Portuguese and Thai, with WeChat-native negotiation in Chinese directly with suppliers, backed by permanent local coordination in Shenzhen.
12 Who carries out the missions?
A dedicated field team operated by AMIGOFRIEND CO., LTD, a Hong Kong incorporated company, working between Europe, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Southeast Asia, with permanent local coordination in Shenzhen. Contracts and NDAs under Hong Kong law.
13 How do we start?
Request the Mission Brief template, fill in two pages, and send it back. If the field can answer your question, we schedule a 30-minute call. You will typically know within a week whether the mission is worth running.
A question we have not covered?
Send it over, or put it straight into your Mission Brief: that is where mission-specific questions get their real answers.
